Characteristics
“Orchard“ is one of the most beloved classic cooperative games from HABA. It introduces children to a world of shared purpose, cooperation and consideration for others.
Red cherries, yellow pears, prunes and green apples are ripening on the trees - but the raven is making progress with his puzzle. Children must pick all the fruit together before the raven's puzzle is completed.
Advice for parents: Cooperative games build a sense of “us“ in children, and not “me vs. you“. “Orchard“ teaches that together we can do better - without pressure and without fear of making a mistake.
How to play
The colored dice with symbols are rolled. Children collect fruit or place a piece of the puzzle on the raven. Everyone decides together what move to make. The whole team wins if the fruit is collected in time. If the raven arranges its puzzle first - everyone starts over.

They play with real wooden fruit. They arrange a puzzle and roll the dice. They feel like they are playing “together”. They experience tension without fear of losing. Every game is different.
