Characteristics
With the HABA metallophone, children can playfully discover the world of sounds. The children's musical instrument follows the principle of the pentatonic scale, i.e. includes a set of 5 different tones. The metallophone is accompanied by a booklet containing 11 children's songs - „Backe, bakekuchen”, „Kommet ye pastirs”, etc..
The colors of the sound tiles correspond to the colors of the notes in the booklet. This way, the youngest can easily orient themselves when playing with the German HABA metallophone and perform music. In addition to their understanding of rhythm and melody, they also train their hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Whether it's spontaneous improvisation or playing simple melodies, the metallophone offers an ideal introduction to making music for little sound explorers from the age of 2.
