With the industry-first Slow Mode1 for scanning wrinkled or thin documents, scanning challenging media has never been easier. The Active Separation Roller System prevents double-feeds and ensures that every sheet is scanned. And the Double Feed Detection Stop (DFDS) feature means you can scan problematic media such as envelopes or documents with sticky notes. The Auto Scan mode allows large volumes of documents to be processed in a manageable manner and scanned into a single file.
Multiple functions. The optional flatbed conversion kit enables efficient processing of documents from postage stamps to passports and books. Single-pass duplex scanning ensures fast document processing, along with the ability to scan a variety of media – from thin paper from 27 gsm to thick cardstock from 413 gsm. The A3 protective pocket speeds up the process by automatically and digitally stitching larger documents together.
Flexible connectivity. High-speed USB 3.0 with TWAIN and ISIS drivers for enhanced compatibility with document management systems.
Software for image enhancement and document management. Epson Scan 2.0 software makes image editing easy – with features such as deskew and auto-rotate, while Document Capture Pro is the easy solution for capturing and storing electronic documents at the touch of a button.
