Get to know the APP brand

Asia Pulp and Paper Group (APP) is the world's third largest A paper producer. In Bulgaria the brand is represented by OK Office.
APP is responsible for providing quality products to meet the growing global demand for copy paper, tissue and packaging materials. Started in 1972 in Indonesia, the company now also manufactures in China with a total annual converting capacity of over 19 million tonnes of pulp, copy and packaging paper per year. Today, APP sells its products in more than 120 countries on six continents.
Over the years, APP has significantly expanded its operations through the acquisition of new pulp and paper mills. 
The company places sustainability at the heart of every aspect of its operations. It's an uneasy road, full of challenges. However, change is already visible. On February 5, 2013, APP adopted a new Forest Conservation Policy announcing the immediate end of deforestation in the papermaking process.

The goal is clear - No Deforestation.
This applies to the entire supply chain, now and in the future. 
Like many companies, APP must balance global demand for products against available natural resources. In this case it is operating in a particularly sensitive area as natural capital is the root of the company's equity. The main challenge is to develop climate, trade, conservation and community in harmony, but APP is determined to find a way to make this happen.
