The HL-1222WE is a printer that features a low cost per print. The model is from Brother's tonerbeneifit series, the concept of which is to make relevant devices work with consumables at extremely affordable prices. It is compact in size, sleek in design and features built-in wireless networking. 
The HL-1222WE prints up to 20 pages per minute, and the first print is ready in 10 seconds.
Starter and standard toner cartridges let you print up to 1,500 pages. Using this type of solution allows you to keep costs low. The unit is easy to install and intuitive - it features an LED control panel and technology that prevents paper jams. The model comes with a 150-sheet paper tray. The device works with 802.11b/g/n wireless networks and offers 32 MB of built-in memory and a fast USB 2.0 interface.
The HL-1222WE supports the Brother iPrint & Scan app, which allows direct scanning and printing from mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads, tablets and Android or Windows Phone smartphones.
