Mineral water KOM is characterized by high pH, low mineralization - it is suitable for everyday use.
The Latin letters pH denote the acidity or alkalinity of solutions and liquids.
Those with a pH less than seven are considered acidic.
They are not suitable for people who complain of gastrointestinal problems - colitis, gastritis or heartburn as they increase discomfort and pain.
On the other hand, waters rich in bicarbonates (HCO3) and with a pH greater than seven, which are alkaline (basic), are the right choice for sufferers of these ailments.
Neutral is the water with a pH closest to seven.
